Philippa King - Senior Co-ordinator

Philippa has worked with children and their parents/caregivers for over 25 years in a variety of educational, health and social care settings, including seven years as a hospice nurse and three years working on a child protection team in Newcastle. She is a trained counsellor specializing in bereavement.

Jane Beckwith - Co-ordinator

Jane has spent all her working life with children and families starting her career as a nursery nurse and ending her full time employment as a Social Work Manager. In March last year she retired from Social Care and uses the time to catch up with family and friends plus be available to undertake voluntary work. Jane completed the Home-Start Volunteer Preparation Course in 2010 and joined the staff in February 2011.

Sue Bailey - Group Worker

Sue was one of the schemes first volunteers and trained in 2004. She qualified as a Home Economist and worked in this field until she started her family. To fit in with family life she retrained as a Teaching Assistant working in Early Years education for 11 years. She became a group worker in 2009.
